The entire GPS-XTM software interface has been reconfigured with a more modern look and feel. The look is brighter with crisp, clean lines and a more consistent colour scheme.
We've been around since the 80s, but we don't need to look like it.
Most of the menus and buttons are still found in the same location as previous versions of GPS-XTM, however the button icons have been updated with a fresh look.
Another improvement involves the scenario menu. The current scenario is now displayed in the lower left-hand corner of the screen (just below the Start button).
This provides a better method to see scenarios with long names and to keep track of which scenario is being edited.
This model simulates the feed of high-purity oxygen into the covered headspaces of the activated sludge tanks in series. The headspaces allow for the gas to move downstream and eventually be vented from the final headspace. The model predicts the gas transfer of O2, CH4, H2 and N2 between the headspace and the liquid (the transfer of N2O is modelled in the Mantis3 model as well).
A newly updated and expanded chemical dosage model has been created for the "In-line Chemical Dosage" object. The dosage is now specified as the mass of the total chemical, not just the metal ion as in previous versions of GPS-X.

You can link the composite sampler model to a specific stream label in the layout. The sampler will then create a composite sample from the continuous stream of model output.
The sourcing feature allows you to link units together, so that they share a common set of biological and/or settling parameters.
The method to specify the sourcing has been improved and simplified, and new symbols have been added to the drawing board to differentiate between the parent and child.
If you create many controllers and/or graph tabs, after a certain point the tab bar will change from displaying multiple rows to displaying a single scrolling row.
In addition, a drop-down menu has been added to allow quick access to the different tabs.
You have spoken and we have listened! Over the years, the use of hardware keys has been a huge hassle for you and we are now pleased to announce that this latest release uses a dongle-less licensing system. You will not be required to insert a USB dongle key as with previous versions of GPS-X. Network licensing continues to be supported, and users can still have multiple versions of GPS-X on the same computer (the previous versions will still require the USB dongle).
